Michael Northcott
President ~ strategy development, marketing, development

Having lived and worked around the world, Mike and his family now call Oregon their home. His career at Hewlett-Packard has included leading regional marketing, business consulting and new business creation teams. He currently serves as director of worldwide supply chain planning and communications for HP’s Personal Systems Group.

Michelle Maida
Secretary ~ development and fundraising

Michelle is an award-winning Principal Broker for John L. Scott Real Estate, specializing in residential sales. She also has
been involved in the Portland theater scene as an actor, on and off for the last 20 years. She has served on the boards of
Tygres Heart Shakespeare Company and The Really Big Dance Company and was literary manager for the original Stark Raving
Theatre 1989-1991. She is a graduate of The National Shakespeare Conservatory NYC.

Catherine Noble
Treasurer ~ finance and accounting

Catherine has a B.A. in Economics and is finishing up a post-bac in Accounting at Portland State University. She worked on Wall Street as an assistant editor of investment reports and as an assistant to economist at Goldman, Sachs partner Robert Giordano. Straddling the artistic and financial worlds, Catherine also has an M.F.A. in film studies from Columbia University and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics (TESOL) from Portland State University. Currently, she is an adjunct instructor in English as a Second Language at Clark College in Vancouver.

Reayah Bennett
Business administration

Reayah grew up in British Columbia but has lived in Oregon for more than 10 years. She is currently finishing her A.B.A. and plans to go onto earn a B.B.A. Reayah has done work for a nonprofit career magazine and she co-wrote a sex education teacher’s manual for Cascade AIDS Project. Reayah has a strong customer service background and is great at motivating others. She became interested in theatrical performances after she discovered an enjoyment for creative writing as a teenager.

Sara Elgee
Administration, nonprofit fundraising

Sara has extensive experience in administration and fundraising for nonprofits. She served on the Educational Foundation
Board at Duniway Elementary School, was PTA president at Duniway for two years, and is currently on the PTA Board at
daVinci Arts Middle School. She has chaired fundraising auctions for Duniway and daVinci schools, as well as Northwest
Children’s Theater.

Carmen Hill Sorenson
Marketing, PR and brand communication

After several years as an independent writer and sole proprietor of Prosody Creative Communication, Carmen recently joined Babcock & Jenkins as a senior copywriter. With a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, she began her career as a broadcast journalist. For nearly a decade she has worked in marketing and advertising, writing and developing content for a wide variety of clients, including multiple Portland creative services agencies, as well as Nike, The Nike Foundation, Bistro Candles and Hoyt Arboretum. She served on the Northwest Children’s Theater Board of Directors for two years.

Angie Reed
Development and project management

Angie Reed is an interior designer/space planner with 15 years experience. Clients include Jeld-Wen of Oregon, Millwork
University-Portland, Epic Imaging and Strategic Pharmaceutical Solutions. She brings extensive project management and
problem-solving skills to the table and enjoys working with nonprofit organizations.
